DataVisualizationKit: A Native Swift Plotting/Visualization Library
DataVisualizationKit library is a port of Matplotlib functionality into the Swift programming language. Matplotlib was originally developed by J.D Hunter 2007 is a great Python library for data visualization.
- two-dimensional line plots: Plot the function
y = f(x,k)where
xdenotes the independent variable,
ydenotes the dependent variable, and
kdenotes a parameter vector. Line properties e.g., width, color, line style and axis properties will be configurable.
- two-dimensional scatter plots: Plot
(x,y)data points on a plane with configurable data symbol types, colors, sizes etc. Axis properties can also be configured including labels, font size, font types, major/minor tick marks.
- More features to come: I’m just getting started, hang on! Checkout the Pooksoft Codeblog for progress updates.
Check out the DataVisualizationKit GitHub repository page. DataVisualizationKit is an open source iOS (and eventually maybe MacOS) framework, available under a MIT software license.
